ABOUT BRIAN WOLFF - COMMUNICATIONS PROFESSIONAL
A Passion for Telling Stories
As a professional since 2005, I focus on creating communication strategies and solutions that enable me to build and protect brands, while telling great stories. I spent 17 years in the communications department at the University at Buffalo Division of Athletics, including the final three as Director of Communications.

At UB, I was the primary contact for men's basketball, volleyball, and men's and women's tennis, while also serving as the secondary contact for football. In addition to those roles, I also oversaw the department budget and assisted in the day-to-day operations of the office. I also maintained the athletic department's website and sat on the University's Social Media Inner Circle.

In 2009, Buffalo’s athletic communications staff received the Super 11 Award by the Football Writers Association of America as a sports information department that exemplified excellent media relations.

Last summer I moved to Connecticut with my wife and son and took a position with the Town of Bloomfield, serving as the Community Engagement & Public Relations Coordinator. As part of a team of two, we were tasked with creating a brand new department for the Town, call the Strategic Communications and Government Affairs Office. In my current role with the town, I serve as the lead spokesperson for Bloomfield as well as running the website and all social media and communication channels.

I received a Master's in Sports Management from Southern New Hampshire University in 2014 and I hold a Bachelor's degree in Communications from the University at Buffalo, which I received in 2005.
